Troubleshooting: Ageto does not log

If none of your sensors logs, there is usually trouble with the receiver (gateway)

Step 1: Check if your receiver is connected to power.

The silver receiver must be connected to power with the correct power adapter.
The red light on top of the receiver indicates that the receiver has power.

Step 2: Check if the receiver is connected to the Internet.

If the receiver had power, we need to check the Internet. The receiver should have a network cable connected between the bottom of the receiver and the internet router.

  1. Check if there are lights in the LEDs on the network plug of the receiver. (This often indicates link)
  2. Follow the network cable all the way from the receiver to the router.
    Normally, the cable should be plugged into a yellow port on the router, often marked with LAN.
  3. If the network cable is plugged into a network switch, make sure that it also has power and is connected to the router.

Step 3: Unplug the power for 5 minutes.

Sometimes it helps to turn it on and off.
If everything in the previous steps was in order, unplug the power for a while.

Step 4: Wait at least 10 minutes

It can take up to 10 minutes from the time you make a change until it starts logging in again, because the sensors only report the temperature every 10 minutes. minute.

Step 5: Contact support
